David Thomas

David started his career as a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers before a number of adventures with aspiring high growth dotcom and technology firms. He was one of the first graduates of the Manchester Business School Master of Enterprise and in 2009 joined Winning Pitch to run its research division. Focusing on developing and disseminating insight around high growth and aspiring high growth firms, he has helped the company to become a recognised authority in the field.

David fully understands the unique challenges around this elusive group of businesses – through starting them, working in them, studying them and supporting them. It is never easy, but always interesting.
